Reus, February 12, 2026 – Although the Lycée Français International de Reus had already successfully implemented online learning during rain-related confinements, this is the first time it has been activated due to wind.
Thanks to advance planning, students were able to gather the necessary materials to work from home, allowing classes to be conducted in a hybrid format: partly in-person, partly online, ensuring educational continuity and guaranteeing safety.
Each year, climate-related confinements are becoming more frequent, and the school’s goal is to ensure the continuity of education without compromising the safety of its students, adapting quickly and effectively to weather-related challenges.
The online classes system allows students to continue their learning from home, maintaining interaction with teachers and classmates as if they were in the classroom, thanks to integrated digital platforms and adapted educational plans.
With this initiative, the Lycée Français International de Reus reaffirms its role as a leader in educational innovation and responsibility in the face of climate emergency challenges, demonstrating that education can progress and adapt even under exceptional circumstances.
