Christmas to Sant Joan Hospital

The Lycée Français International de Reus once again joins the solidarity campaign “Portem el Nadal a Salut Sant Joan”, an initiative aimed at bringing the Christmas spirit closer to hospital patients during the holiday season.

Morning welcome time: a space for collaboration and learning

The creation of the Christmas cards took place during the morning welcome time, a moment in which students who wish to participate can create their cards and collaborate with older or younger classmates, sharing ideas and offering mutual support.

This is a warm, friendly and cooperative moment that encourages interaction between students of different ages and reinforces values such as solidarity, empathy, mutual support and respect, which are essential elements of the educational project of the Lycée Français International de Reus.

Cards filled with messages of encouragement

The cards created by the students will be part of the 1,000 cards made by children from different educational centres in the region as part of the #PortemelNadalaSalutSantJoan campaign.

These cards will be distributed along with the meal trays of patients admitted to the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus during the holidays, especially on Christmas Day, St. Stephen’s Day and New Year’s Day, turning a small gesture into a meaningful sign of warmth and care.

A long-standing solidarity initiative

The “Portem el Nadal a Salut Sant Joan” campaign, launched in 2019, aims to help patients at Sant Joan Hospital in Reus feel the warmth of Christmas, even when they are far from home.
