The Lycée Français International de Reus  is a private, secular, multilingual and international educational institution that offers high-quality education based on the universal values of tolerance, respect, solidarity, coexistence and secularism.

The school is built upon a solid and well-established educational project, with a history of more than three decades. It began its journey in 1988 under the name Bon Soleil, welcoming its first early-years pupils. Since then, the school has experienced steady and coherent growth, expanding its educational stages and services to become the present-day Lycée Français International de Reus. It is therefore the same school, evolved, which has successfully adapted to new educational challenges while preserving its identity and core values.

A French educational system from ages 3 to 18

The Lycée follows the official programmes of the French educational system, which are also recognised by the Spanish and Catalan education authorities. The educational pathway accompanies students from the age of 3 through to 18, from early years education to the Baccalaureate.

The Baccalaureate is a true international academic passport, enabling students to access universities around the world, thanks to its official equivalence and the strong international reputation of this qualification.

An international school within a global educational network

The Lycée Français International de Reus is part of the Mission Laïque Française (MLFMonde), an international network of educational institutions present in many countries worldwide. Membership in this network enables student mobility within the same educational system, facilitating international school transfers and enriching students’ academic and personal journeys.

The school welcomes students of all nationalities, within a multicultural environment that promotes openness to the world and respect for diversity.

A multilingual school

The main language of instruction is French. English, Catalan and Spanish are introduced from the earliest years, fostering genuine and functional multilingualism. All language teachers are native speakers, ensuring high-quality linguistic and cultural immersion.
